Michele Helaney is the owner of Five Elements Massage, Martial Arts, and Oriental Medicine, LLC which operates in Nebraska as Omaha Blue Waves Martial Arts. Michele Helaney holds Bachelor's degrees in Business Management and in Korean Studies. Additionally, Mrs. Helaney has a degree in Masso-Therapy. She holds a limited branch medical practitioners license in the State of Ohio and is a licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Nebraska.

Mrs. Helaney has specialized certificates in nutrition, fitness training, and oriental medicine. Mrs. Helaney has studied TaeKwon-Do and Hapkido for over 11 years. She is a black belt in TaeKwon-Do and is a certified instructor. Mrs. Helaney has taught numerous seminars on women's self defense and fitness.

Her work with children in the martial arts has been recognized by the World Wide Martial Arts Hall of Fame and the Ne-De-U-Ka-Tae Federation.
