Paige Helaney has been involved in the martial arts for 9 years. Paige has been an avid competitor for much of her time in the martial arts. She is a former Ohio State Champion with the Professional Karate Commission (PKC) and is a former Cornhusker State Games Gold Medalist.

In 2005, Ms. Helaney was recognized by the Akron-Beacon Journal Newspaper as a "Kid with Character" for her work with other children in the martial arts and for being an exemplary role model. Ms. Helaney currently volunteers at both the YMCA in the martial arts program and at the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo as part of the XYZ Club. In 2009 she was inducted into the UMAA Hall fo Fame in Virginia as the "Assistant Instructor of the Year" in the TaeKwonDo Division.

Ms. Helaney is a student at Millard West High School, is on the student council, and works with the assets group..
